At first glance, I thought these heels-in-wedges would be awkward to walk in, thankfully that was not the case because I was determine that they were coming home with me. LOL!! The art of the shoes got my attention, and the color combo kept me laser focused to make sure no other being reached their happy fingers to grab them...well, they may have pulled stubs...kidding of course. Ha!!
It is no mystery to anyone that really knows me that anything that glitters, captures and holds my attention. Then it's no surprise that after seeing heels designer Marco Proietti in my feed on Instagram, I started to stalk...I mean "follow."
To moi, the clear tell-tell signs that Spring is near are all the neutral colored heels popping up from high to low price points. I believe that every woman needs at least one pair of nude heels. Goodness knows there's a wide variety of tones, heel height and style to select from. They can be worn as casual with boyfriend/skinny jeans or as dressy with an LBD or flowy maxi dress. It's all about how you're feeling and where you going :)
This is such an impromptu shot!! I was out walking for lunch, flats on, heels and hand and saw this mosaic bench. Of course, it was a photo op moment. LOL!! Pleasantly surprised with beautiful colors. The blue reminds me of an inviting pool on a smoldering Summer day.
IRIS VAN HERPEN EXHIBIT - HIGH MUSEUM OF ART ATLANTA
I'm still wowed and awed that I got to see this exhibit up close!! I've pinned many pins of Iris van Herpen designs but nothing beats seeing these pieces up close!
I made my way down to the High Museum of Art on Saturday 2.27.16. I'd put this on my "to do" list since the exhibit arrived in November 2015 and realized that if I didn't do it now, it would be gone before I remember I'd not seen it after all. It was worth and I was captivated!
At first glance, I had to have these booties because I own nothing like them in my collection. I'm a woman who loves details, and these are oozing deets without overdoing it. I have two colors to chose from.
